Responsabilities:
- LinuxSystems & HPC Infrastructure: Administer and optimize the Linux computeenvironment supporting CPU design and verification workloads, both onsite andin the cloud. Plan capacity, tune performance, and ensure high availability.
- Hardware Assembly & Parts Management: Perform hands-on hardware work,including assembling, racking, and cabling servers and workstations. Manageparts inventory, spares, RMAs, and vendor orders to keep systems running andrepairs turning around quickly.
- Tool Development & Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automationtools and scripts to optimize system performance, streamline design flows, andreduce manual effort across IT operations.
- Containers & CI/CD: Build, deploy, and maintain containerized services andenvironments. Develop and support CI/CD pipelines that keep design,verification, and infrastructure workflows fast and reliable.
- License & Tool Management: Administer EDA tool installations and licenseservers (e.g., FlexLM), ensuring engineers have reliable access to the computeand licenses they need.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Develop and maintain monitoring solutions toproactively detect issues and configure alerting for critical system events andincidents.
- Collaboration & Support: Workclosely with engineering teams and end users to identify inefficiencies andprovide technical support. Document tools and workflows to support knowledgesharing across teams.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Linux systems administration, IT automation, and system optimization.
- Hands-on experience building and using containers (e.g., Docker, Podman) inproduction environments.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions,Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Expertise in HPC and data center environments.
- Strong understanding of CPU design methods and requirements for compute andlicense management.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and build automationtools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically aboutcomplex design challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith cross-functional teams.
- A proactive attitude toward continuous learning and improvement.
- Willingness to travel occasionally
