ALSO is looking for a Senior Compliance Engineer to oversee ALSO product compliance standards and ensure all products comply with domestic and international safety standards. In this role, you’ll work with product, legal, test and sales teams to provide critical guidance on compliance regulations and lead projects for new compliance standards.
What You Will Do
Lead the creation and integration of product compliance programs and ensure their success.
Provide guidance and education to teammates on domestic and international regulations, certification requirements and new compliance standards.
Generate product documentation required to satisfy certification by collaborating with product and design teams, suppliers, third-party test houses and test engineers.
Review and analyze technical drawings, schematics and requirements.
Participate in specification and design reviews to ensure they will meet necessary certification requirements.
Track progress for compliance tasks through all stages of product development to ensure desired performance, cost and efficiency.
Serve as a continuous improvement ambassador by working with leaders of cross-functional teams to identify inefficient and ineffective processes and collaboratively establish new ways of working.
Interact with domestic and international test organizations.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with 7+ years of compliance or testing experience, preferably with experience working with or inside third-party testing/audit agencies.
Thorough working knowledge of domestic and international regulatory requirements and other relevant standards for various smaller-than-car electric vehicle form factors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail, time management and organization skills.

The salary for this position ranges from $170,000 - $235,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
