ALSO is looking for a Vehicle Homologation Engineer to play a key role in developing and leading the reliability of multiple electric micro-mobility vehicles over the full development cycle.
What You Will Do
Lead the creation and integration of product Homologation programs and ensure their success.
Provide guidance and education to teammates on domestic and international regulations, certification requirements and new regulatory standards.
Generate product documentation required to satisfy certification by collaborating with product and design teams, suppliers, third-party test houses and test engineers.
Review and analyze technical drawings, schematics and requirements.
Participate in specification and design reviews to ensure they will meet necessary regulatory requirements.
Conduct and oversee in-house and third-party regulatory testing.
Develop expertise in existing and upcoming mobility regulations.
Assist in homologation program management to prepare for future regulatory changes.
Develop and maintain a homologation roadmap aligned with product timelines and market launch plans.
Work with design and engineering teams to ensure early integration of regulatory requirements in the product development lifecycle.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of homologation or testing experience.
Thorough working knowledge of domestic and international regulatory requirements and other relevant standards for various smaller-than-car electric vehicle form factors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail, time management and organization skills.
The salary for this position ranges from $180,000 - $225,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
