About ALSO.
We’re ALSO, an electric mobility company originally conceived as a part of Rivian. We’re a passionate team of builders, dreamers, doers and innovators, focused on creating entirely new (not to mention, innovative and delightful) vertically integrated, small EVs designed to meet the global mobility challenges of today and tomorrow. Our mission is to inspire everyone to ride ALSO—replacing many local car, truck and SUV miles with ones on vehicles that are more affordable, more enjoyable and 10-50x more efficient.
ALSO is looking for a Vehicle Product Manager to lead the strategy, definition, and evolution of our 4-wheel pedal-powered micromobility platform — including pedal-electric cargo quads, low speed vehicles (LSVs), and more. These products redefine what’s possible in sustainable urban and suburban mobility and commercial fleet operations. You’ll collaborate across internal teams and with commercial clients — such as logistics operators, delivery services, and fleet partners — to translate real-world use cases into actionable product requirements. TPMs manage program execution; you focus on vision, product definition, and cross-functional alignment.
What You Will Do:
Product Strategy & Definition
Own the 4-wheel pedal-powered product roadmap, defining target segments, form factors, and configurations.
Translate client and market insights into detailed product requirements and performance targets.
Lead early concept development and requirement alignment across engineering, design, and operations.
Commercial & Customer Collaboration
Interface directly with key fleet and logistics partners to co-develop requirements and validate prototypes.
Conduct customer interviews, pilot evaluations, and market analysis to refine vehicle concepts.
Partner with sales and business development to ensure products align with commercial objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with design, engineering, and operations on manufacturability, cost, and user experience.
Work alongside TPMs who manage program schedules, while you maintain ownership of product priorities.
Partner with compliance teams to confirm regional and regulatory requirements are fully addressed.
Collaborate with the technical writing team to develop documentation, service materials, and educational resources for customers and internal teams.
Lifecycle & Market Feedback
Track performance of active and pilot programs, integrating customer and field feedback into roadmap updates.
Identify opportunities for design optimization, modularity, and regional customization.
What You Will Bring:
5+ years of product management experience in pedal-powered vehicles, light mobility, commercial logistics, or related fields.
Strong understanding of drivetrain systems, human-electric hybrid mechanics, and structural design.
Experience collaborating with commercial clients and integrating real-world feedback into product development.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and external partners.
Nice to Have:
Experience with fleet deployment or urban logistics vehicles.
Familiarity with international mobility regulations and homologation categories.
Background in mechanical engineering, transportation design, or industrial design.
The salary for this position ranges from $230,000 - $280,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Why ALSO.
