ABOUT THE ROLE
As an HR & Office Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in shaping both the employee experience and the daily operations of our office. You’ll be a go-to resource for employees, a key player in fostering our culture, and the behind-the-scenes engine keeping things running smoothly.
You will collaborate closely with the People team to support initiatives that make our company a great place to work. At the same time, you'll own day-to-day office operations and vendor relationships to create a welcoming, efficient, and well-managed workplace.
This is a highly cross-functional role that balances detailed administrative work with creative problem-solving and a passion for people.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Manage daily office operations, including ordering supplies, coordinating restocks, and communicating updates or changes to the team
  • Serve as the main point of contact for building management and office service providers
  • Oversee office food and snack programs, including Forkable and vendor-managed services
  • Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, including company events, celebrations, milestone gifts, and employee swag
  • Maintain the overall look and feel of the office to ensure a clean, welcoming, and productive environment
  • Coordinate on-site logistics for meetings, visitors, and employee events
  • Manage vendor relationships for HR and office needs, including tracking contracts, processing invoices, and sourcing new vendors
  • Support additional companywide projects and administration needs such as travel vendors, training coordination, off-sites etc.
  • Support or lead other HR key projects such as remote employee support, onboarding administration, vendor and supply management, background checks, and workplace improvements

WHAT WE WANT TO SEE

  • At least two years of experience in HR administration, office coordination, or a similar hybrid role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Friendly and approachable with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working within a tech organization or a scaling startup
  • Ability to work 5 days in office in San Francisco

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAD

  • Experience supporting both in-office and remote teams
  • Familiarity with vendor management and procurement processes
  • Ability to create a welcoming, well-designed physical environment
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms (BambooHR, or similar)
