What You’ll Do:
- Maintain lab equipment calibration, safety standards, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate cross functional test scheduling — supporting visibility, prioritization, and optimization.
- Organize lab equipment and materials. Establish inventory management and own ongoing purchasing and restocking.
- Maintain and improve audio visual systems for test recording and remote collaboration, in multiple testing environments.
- Implement company-wide training and safety protocols for employee access to specialized equipment.
- Provide cross functional education on equipment use and communal lab care activities, as an accountability buddy to all.
- Execute and develop testing methods collaborating with engineers, including model setup, device preparation, data recording, and teardown.
- Leverage existing resources and expand their accessibility to the team for speed and cost efficiency.
- Identify opportunities, assess and execute improvements, and communicate these improvements independently (lab organization, communication organization, tool needs, process documentation, educational resource development).
What You’ll Need:
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Organizational and scheduling enthusiasm.
- Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Hands on prototyping and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to work without supervision, assess and confirm group needs, accomplish tasks, align to company priorities, and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
- Familiarity with good documentation practices.
- Ability to work within a Quality System in a regulated industry.
- 5 to 15 years of relevant experience (regulated industry or medical experience preferred).
Ways To Stand Out:
- Equipment calibration, maintenance, and repair skills.
- Experience with medical imaging equipment.
- Hands-on expertise in other fields – automotive, bikes, drones, etc – tell us about it!
- Testing and test documentation experience within a Quality System.
