Cerebras Systems builds the world's largest AI chip, 56 times larger than GPUs. Our novel wafer-scale architecture provides the AI compute power of dozens of GPUs on a single chip, with the programming simplicity of a single device. This approach allows Cerebras to deliver industry-leading training and inference speeds and empowers machine learning users to effortlessly run large-scale ML applications, without the hassle of managing hundreds of GPUs or TPUs.

Cerebras' current customers include global corporations across multiple industries, national labs, and top-tier healthcare systems. In January, we announced a multi-year, multi-million-dollar partnership with Mayo Clinic, underscoring our commitment to transforming AI applications across various fields. In August, we launched Cerebras Inference, the fastest Generative AI inference solution in the world, over 10 times faster than GPU-based hyperscale cloud inference services.

About The Team

The Developer Experience (DevX) team is Cerebras’ engine for visibility and growth. We sit at the intersection of engineering, storytelling, and community, helping developers experience what true speed feels like.
Our mission is simple: show builders everywhere what’s possible when AI runs 20× faster. We create the demos, integrations, and content that make Cerebras the platform developers reach for when they need raw performance and effortless scale.
We work closely with engineering, marketing, and product teams to deliver a seamless journey for developers. Cerebras already powers models for Cognition, Meta, and Mistral; now our focus is on expanding awareness and making Cerebras a household name among developers.

About The Role

As a Developer Experience Engineer, you’ll sit at the crossroads of engineering, creativity, and community. Your mission: help developers see, feel, and believe what’s possible with the world’s fastest inference platform.
You’ll build demos, tools, tutorials, and integrations that showcase Cerebras’ unique strengths. You’ll represent Cerebras at events and online, build relationships with developers and startups, and create high value content.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who’s technical, creative and passionate about crafting exceptional developer experiences.
Depending on your background, you’ll focus on one or more of the following:
Community & Events
  • Build and run creative activations, hackathons, and pop-ups that grow our developer ecosystem.
  • Scale our flagship event series, Cafe Compute, and bring Cerebras to every major AI city.
Partnerships & Integrations
  • Launch integrations that make Cerebras the fastest way to run inference across open-source and partner tools.
  • Drive co-marketing campaigns and growth loops that amplify Cerebras’ story through top ecosystem players.

Skills & Qualifications

Preferred
  • Experience building or scaling developer communities, technical content, or open-source ecosystems.
  • Strong technical understanding of AI inference, LLMs, or developer tools.
  • Comfort with storytelling — through writing, video, or live events.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and move fast in ambiguous environments.
Minimum
  • 2+ years of experience in technical marketing, developer relations, or software engineering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
