Job Description

The Field Services Manager will lead highly skilled technical teams while ensuring operational and financial excellence in industrial service delivery. We are looking for someone with leadership experience in field service operations and expertise in automation technologies such as PLCs and industrial networks. In addition to overseeing service contracts and safety practices, the manager will act as a key link between customers, technical teams, and senior leadership—driving business growth through KPI management, strategic vision, and commercial acumen.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will lead and manage technical field service teams, ensuring operational excellence and safety compliance.
  • Manage operational and financial KPIs, including accountability for P&L results.
  • Oversee service contract execution and customer escalations, driving timely resolution of critical issues.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to align strategies, share data insights, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of financial and operational outcomes while supporting business growth initiatives.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical field service or industrial service roles.
  • 3+ years of experience leading or supervising technical teams.
  • Proven experience managing operational and financial KPIs.
  • Experience handling technical escalations and applying industrial safety practices.
  • Services contract management experience.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, drives, industrial networks, and automation technologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Background in managing service contracts and industrial operations.
  • Strategic commercial experience in industrial automation or related fields.
