Job Description
We are looking for Program Manager PLM Windchill who will ensure the value delivery and execution of our technical roadmap for the enterprise PLM tool: Windchill. PLM is what helps to manage that lifecycle by aligning people, data, processes, and technology to bring the product to market.
You will report to the Manager located in USA and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities:
- Work as the Product Owner to maximize value to our PLM: Windchill backlog, collaborate with RA IT's centralized PLM team, ensuring ongoing understanding of the PLM vision, strategy, and delivery
- Develop a prioritized backlog, empowering Agile planning, execution, review with the IT development team for Windchill Application
- Guide alignment within the engineering teams, including mechanical/electrical hardware, engineered to order, quality, project financial management, environmental compliance, and supply chain consumers. Elicit their PLM needs and use Intake requests to establish program increment goals for the IT PLM Windchill team.
- Strategic Leader that coordinates with Industry partners, Subject Matter Experts and multiple partners to identify value creation, gather requirements, and update the roadmap and implementation plan for PLM Tool Windchill
- Lead ongoing delivery status updates, reporting on goals, trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Accountable for Global deployment of the solutions ensuring compliance of solution designs with specifications, role expectations and creating/maintaining technical documentation
- Scan the horizon for associated risks to delivery and work cross functionality to develop appropriate mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Provide input to the Program Increment (PI) planning context, PI objective definition including value, Feature acceptance criteria
- Verify that acceptance criteria are met, and that the work fulfill the team's Definition of Done to accept work as done. Assess value delivered for each PI Objective
- Communicate with and provide information to partners regarding work sequence, risks and mitigation options, and effect of scope changesSupport team to guide global business process ownership for all PLM processes
- Collaborate with team members and external consultants for configuration, functionality, customization, integration, training, data migration, deployment, support
- Collaborate with internal/external partners to lead and use of the PLM platforms as the standard application for defined processes
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering
- 5 years of experience in product development, process/continuous improvement, consulting, or related industry roles
- 3+ years of experience in Engineering with experience in hardware product development, Product Lifecycle management and enterprise ERP deployment
- 3+ years of experience managing product life cycle/PLM system type projectsIn-depth experience with PLM and Engineering transformation and process redesign methods
- Project ad Program management experience
- Relationship skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams and peer departments
- Occasional Travel up to 10% of time
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience with continuous improvement or Lean Six Sigma, Yellow Belt, Green Belt, is a plus
- Knowledge of new technologies and being able to practically apply them to PLM and Engineering operations
- Knowledge in all aspects of designing and constructing end-to-end hardware product development business processes, functions and organizational structures
- Demonstrated knowledge as Program Manager (PMP), Safe Agilist, including product owner role and Agile project delivery methodologies
- Experience leading and collaborating on projects with Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Supply Chain
- Experience following platforms is an asset: SAP, PLM software such as Windchill, CREO, AutoDesk, EPLAN, ANSYS, Mathworks, Siemens Mentor
- Experience driving mCAD and eCAD maturity standards set up through working groups, communities of practice methods
- Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
