Job Description

As Material Handler you will contribute in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, parts, and supplies throughout our operations. You will receive, storing, distributing, and preparing materials for internal use and outbound shipments. We ask that you be attention to detail, accuracy in recordkeeping, and the ability to work safely with heavy items and equipment.

You will report to General Manager.

Responsibilities - you will do:

Receiving & Inspection

  • Receive incoming materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Unpack and inspect goods against purchase orders or invoices.
  • Verify quantities, quality, and documentation accuracy.
  • Record all received items and report or reject damaged or non‑conforming materials.

Material Storage & Handling

  • Store, organize, and maintain materials in designated inventory locations.
  • Move and lift heavy items safely; may operate a forklift or other material‑handling equipment.
  • Ensure proper labeling, identification, and traceability of stored items.

Shipping & Distribution

  • Prepare merchandise and materials for outbound shipments.
  • Post weights, shipping charges, and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and ensure proper packaging for final shipment.
  • Distribute materials to manufacturing lines and internal departments as needed.

Inventory & Production Support

  • Examine stock levels and replenish materials as required.
  • Support manufacturing by supplying materials to production lines in a timely manner.
  • Prepare kitting packages for assembly or production activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records to support operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or material‑handling roles.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
  • Experience with forklifts or other material-handling equipment (certification is an advantage).
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
