We are seeking an experienced Software Development Project Manager with significant hands-on development experience in software engineering. The ideal candidate will thrive in managing complex software-focused projects in environments where collaboration and innovation are key. You will lead cross-functional teams and ensure the successful delivery of cutting-edge software solutions for our ophthalmic robotic platform.

** Our office is currently located in Yoqneam Illit and will be relocating to Caesarea, near the train station, in October 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple disciplines, technologies, and interfaces.
  • Provide on-site leadership by building, guiding, and motivating project teams to meet goals, responsibilities, and key milestones.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to execute projects effectively, prioritize execution and meet the project goals on quality, time and budget.
  • Own the full development lifecycle of the system within each project.
  • Build and maintain detailed, data driven, project plan throughout the entire lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple projects in a dynamic, high-uncertainty environment using a structured, tool-based approach.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other relevant engineering degrees.
  • 8+ years of experience in R&D in a technical development role.
  • 4+ years of experience in a project management role leading multidisciplinary medical device development.
  • Strong understanding of the medical device development process and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with different project management methodologies.
  • Excellent understanding of Medical Device Quality Systems, ISO 13485 & CFR21 part 820, Design Control processes. Experience with the environment, safety, biocompatibility, and essential performance testing.
  • Good organizational skills, an out-of-the-box problem solving attitude.
  • Good documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to self-manage, lead, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English.
