We are seeking an experienced Software Chief Architect. In this senior role, you will lead the design and evolution of our software architecture across all robotic platforms. You’ll ensure that our systems are scalable, reliable, and safe—aligned with both technical and business goals—while working closely with engineering leaders to deliver a cohesive, future-proof ecosystem.

** Our office is currently located in Yoqneam Illit and will be relocating to Caesarea, near the train station, in November 2025.
Responsibilities
- Own the architectural strategy and technology roadmap.
- Define system design principles, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Guide, review, and approve key design decisions, architecture documents, and system interfaces to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies where beneficial.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is an advantage.
- Management orientation – an advantage.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture and large-scale system design, with a proven track record in robotics, medical devices, or other complex multidisciplinary systems.
- Expertise in real-time software.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python, with familiarity in AI/ML. and experience working in Linux environments.
- Knowledge of software safety and regulatory standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, or similar).
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills to influence technical direction across teams.
