We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to join our supply chain team. This hands-on role is responsible for operational procurement and logistics activities, ensuring timely material availability in compliance with medical industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including ownership of Purchase Orders (POs) within the ERP system.
- Drive supplier performance by proactively managing delivery commitments, lead times, and commercial terms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and global suppliers to optimize cost, availability, and supply continuity.
- Manage and mitigate supply risks, including order changes, shortages, delays, and commercial discrepancies.
- Ensure data integrity and procurement accuracy within ERP systems, including invoice validation and variance resolution.
- Oversee international and domestic logistics operations (air, sea, road) to ensure efficient and cost-effective material flow.
- Lead import/export activities, including customs documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, brokers, and logistics partners to optimize service and cost.
- Monitor and control logistics costs and performance KPIs.
- Coordinate material flow across warehousing, storage, and site deliveries to ensure operational continuity.
- Partner cross-functionally with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to align procurement strategy with production and project goals.
- Proactively support production and project milestones through strategic material planning and supply coordination.
- Ensure procurement and logistics activities comply with internal procedures and medical regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Procurement/Buying in multi-disciplinary industry, including hands-on logistics and international shipping (import/export and customs clearance).
- Experience in a medical device company or regulated environment – strong advantage.
- Experience with Priority ERP – advantage.
- High level of English (written and spoken) – daily use.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and execution skills.
- Detail-oriented, independent, and able to work under pressure.
- Willingness to work extended hours as needed to support operational and project timelines.
