We are looking for a passionate and dynamic mechanical engineer, with a hands-on approach, to join our R&D team. The role involves the research and development of surgical instruments for cataract robotic eye surgery - from concept to mass production.

• Design and develop surgical instruments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, driving rapid iteration prototyping, and transition to mass production.
• Lead the full product development lifecycle, from conceptual design, drawings, manufacturing through validation and successful implementation in surgical and patient-care environments.
• Consider sterilization processes and medical standards to ensure designs meet regulatory compliance.
• Manage supplier relationships and collaborate with internal departments.Write and review R&D documentation including requirements, test protocols, analysis of test results and report generation.
• Lead engineering changes and continuously improve our product designs.

• Brilliant mechanical engineer with at least 5+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• Experience in design for medical devices.
• Experience in design for mass production injection molding.
• Experience in surgical instruments design – Must.
• Experience with SolidWorks of at least 5 years.
• Experience with PLMs and ECOs.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player, strong execution, communication & interpersonal skills.
