Robotics will have a massive positive impact on the world economy and global human productivity over the coming decade. At Foxglove, we're excited for this future, and we're building powerful open source and commercial tools to accelerate it.
We're an experienced team of independent thinkers, with a passion for creating high quality products. We're looking for self-motivated and fast-learning individuals to join our mission.
About the role
We’re looking for a strategic, technically fluent Product Marketer with a passion for storytelling and go-to-market excellence to help design, build, and scale the tools that power the next generation of robotics development.
In this role, you’ll own product positioning, messaging, and launch strategy across Foxglove’s product suite — collaborating with Product, Engineering, Sales, and DevRel to craft compelling narratives, execute high-impact launches, and ensure every innovation connects clearly to customer value and market growth.
Location
Foxglove is a remote-friendly company, with employees spread across many locations. We maintain Pacific Time hours and hire within ±4 hours of U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration.
For this position, we're looking for someone onsite in our San Francisco office.
What you'll do
Define and evolve product positioning and messaging: Craft differentiated, technically grounded messaging that articulates Foxglove’s value to developers, robotics teams, and enterprise customers.
Lead go-to-market strategy for major product initiatives: Build comprehensive GTM plans in collaboration with Product, Demand Gen, and Content — defining goals, audience, launch tactics, and success metrics.
Translate technical innovation into customer value: Work directly with engineering and product teams to understand roadmap priorities, and shape how new features are communicated internally and externally.
Develop competitive and market intelligence: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform positioning, pricing, and product direction. Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.
Build impactful enablement assets: Create product briefs, sales collateral, pitch decks, and demos that help teams communicate Foxglove’s value with clarity and confidence.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align messaging: Partner with Content, DevRel, and Creative to ensure consistent narratives across campaigns, events, and community channels.
Measure, learn, and iterate: Analyze launch performance and adoption metrics with the GTM Engineer to refine messaging, targeting, and future campaigns.
-
Champion customer understanding: Represent the voice of the user within Foxglove — sharing insights about how roboticists and engineers evaluate, adopt, and succeed with our tools.
What we're looking for
Experience: 7+ years in product marketing, technical marketing, or solutions marketing, within developer tools, SaaS infrastructure, robotics, or AI.
Technical fluency: Deep understanding of technical products and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, differentiated value.
Strategic acumen: Proven ability to define positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy for multi-product ecosystems.
Execution excellence: Comfortable managing cross-functional launches end-to-end — from planning to measurement.
Analytical and insight-driven: Skilled at blending qualitative and quantitative data to guide strategy and refine narratives.
Collaborative communicator: Able to partner effectively across product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams.
Background in engineering, robotics, and computer science.
-
Experience marketing to robotics developers (platforms or data infrastructure tools).
