Instrumental technology is used by the world’s most admired electronics brands, such as NVIDIA, Cisco, and Meta, to accelerate new product development and improve production yields. Our technology leverages AI to process data generated on the manufacturing floor, automating failure identification and resolution, improving yield, quality, and time-to-market. In the past few quarters, our technology has become mission-critical for AI server manufacturers. We’re rapidly growing our global presence to enable deeper integrations into our customers’ complex manufacturing environments.
As AI infrastructure scales globally, our technology has become mission-critical for advanced server manufacturers. To support this growth, we are evolving our deployment model. Today, Instrumental installs equipment directly on manufacturing lines. In this role, you will lead a zero-to-one initiative to build and operationalize strategic partnerships with system integrators (SIs) who will deploy Instrumental technology on our behalf across highly automated production lines.
This is a strategy-meets-execution role. You will combine deep knowledge of the electronics manufacturing ecosystem (OEMs, CMs, integrators, automation vendors) with strong operational rigor and executive-level engagement. Initial focus will be on Taiwan and Vietnam, with global expansion over time.
You will operate at both the factory floor and executive level—owning partner relationships, enabling scalable deployment models, and ensuring technical excellence aligns with long-term business strategy.
We’re Looking for Someone Who Will:
- Build and scale Instrumental’s strategy to leverage System Integrators (SI) for hardware deployment and onsite support: Design and execute the end-to-end SI partnership framework (commercial structure, technical enablement, and governance) while owning senior relationships across APAC. Ensure SIs are aligned with Instrumental’s go-to-market strategy and long-term platform roadmap, and accountable for deployment quality, readiness, and scalable execution.
- Operationalize repeatable, high-quality deployments: Enable SIs to independently deploy Instrumental across factories and customers by defining standardized best practices (design reviews, FAT/SAT, readiness checklists) and guiding cross-functional teams through specification, validation, shipping, and ramp. Drive consistency, reduce friction, and increase deployment velocity.
- Lead technical validation and execution in the field: Partner with Sales and Solutions to validate scope, align on automation constraints, and architect scalable inspection frameworks leveraging Instrumental or third-party systems. Act as the senior technical interface with OEMs, CMs, and SIs—balancing trade-offs, driving manufacturable solutions, and representing Instrumental on-site and at the executive level.
What You’ll Be Doing or We’d Love to Chat if You Have:
- B.S. in Engineering (required)
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, project management, or system integration within electronics or adjacent industries
- Experience working directly with system integrators on automation or advanced manufacturing deployments
- Strong understanding of NPI, mass production, manufacturing systems, and change management
- Comfortable leading both hands-on factory execution and executive-level strategic discussions
- Customer-facing, with a strong customer-success orientation
- Demonstrated success in high-growth or startup environments (or as an intrapreneur in larger organizations)
- You are structured, decisive, and comfortable in ambiguity. When there’s no playbook, you create one.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
We’re a growing team that works collaboratively, supports each other, and is energized by having impact. We value passion and the ability to learn – you’re encouraged to apply even if your experience doesn’t match the job description precisely!
Instrumental is proud to offer a highly-rated variety of benefits, including health, vision, dental, commuter plans, and parental leave.
