PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead recruitment efforts within a consistent, fair and legally compliant method, track process, positions and calendar according to organizational growth plan; Utilize LinkedIn Corporate partnership, online tools, industry specific websites and recruitment partners.

• Provide support with researching, customizing and partnering with hiring managers to create job descriptions to ensure function and company needs are clearly identified ahead of recruitment efforts.

• Process new position requests through the Position Justification process, evaluating the organizational impact of the role, validation of the level, etc., ensure staffing model administration and appropriate approvals.

• Use various channels to source candidates; Utilize LinkedIn Corporate partnership, other best practice online tools, industry specific websites; partner effectively with external recruitment partners as needed for hard to fill roles.

• Lead the job posting process, to include support the sourcing and implementation of external job postings and the coordination with the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); coordinate internal interview process with hiring manager, maintain and administer the system on an on-going basis.

• Manage the HR screening / interviewing process and coordinate the interview process with the hiring team; create, update and maintain interview guides to ensure position key competencies are identified and met; Maintain all recruitment documentation, including hiring team interview guides, resumes in a compliant manner.

• Coordinate offer proposals and approvals with the Manager, Human Resources and SVP, Human Resources in accordance with internal equity, external market considerations and budgetary requirements while aligning with the compensation bands.

• Manage and maintain all recruitment documentation and files to include immigration folders (i.e. Visa, etc.) according to legal and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain compliant physical and digital files for team members, to include their personnel, benefits and training records, including uploading documents into the HRIS system.

• Coordinate team member training programs, ensuring timely tracking, completion and reimbursement where necessary, administering new team member logins, troubleshooting and team notification.

• Conduct new hire check-in interviews on a consistently scheduled basis upon hire to ensure feedback, engagement and organizational alignment with the new hire based on their recruitment and in the team environment; collaborate with managers and / or HR on feedback received to address accordingly.

• Support coordination of new hire office tools and office set-up (in coordination with onsite administrator), to include coordination with IT partner, marketing team and hiring manager.

• Collaborate with upper management and team members to ensure open dialogue of concerns and timely addressing of concerns to ensuring a supportive culture and environment.

• Support general HR processes to include: team member performance management, team programs and events, goal tracking and the annual performance management process.

• Provide back-up support in the administration of internal documents such as job descriptions, offer letters, promotion / transfer letters, performance management documents and other documentation for leadership approval / signature.

• Ensure confidentiality in all related HR tasks and actions.

• Monitor and communicate local market trends and state legal employment requirements, regulations and compliance.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Communication or Organizational Development required; HRCI / SHRM Certification preferred.

• 3+ years Human Resources, Recruiting or Office Management experience required.

• 2+ years pharmaceutical, life sciences, biotech or medical office recruitment experience required.

• Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software.

• Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.

• Leadership and coaching skills.

• Strong empathy and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Attention to detail and analytically driven.

• Ability to travel up to 25% to other sites, conferences, or other approved / required needs.

• Must be able to sit and work at a desk for a prolonged period of time.

• Must be able to lift 15 lbs on an occasional basis.

THE FINE PRINT:

The salary range in Minnesota is $75,000-90,000 per year. Please note that compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
