POSITION SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment. The Maintenance Technician will need to be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all safety guidelines.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventative, routine, and non-routine maintenance on facility and lab equipment.

• Arrange certification and qualification activities with third party contractors in line with production schedules.

• Escort external contractors and suppliers on site during certifications and qualifications.

• Document all work on validated systems including equipment logs, readings, and alarm investigations to meet the requirements of CGMP.

• Order and maintain appropriate spare parts level for production process equipment.

• Participate in investigations for Corrective and Preventative Actions, Deviations, and root cause analysis of equipment.

• Participate in the writing of SOPs, PM’s, Forms and other documentation associated with the facility and lab equipment.

• Perform qualifications on routine equipment within both the CGMP and Research and Development areas.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Weekends, after hours, and travel may be required to support production schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree/Advanced technical education or certification in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with HVAC.

• 3+ years of experience working with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment/tools.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and CCMS software.

• Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills.

• Must be able to work efficiently across all levels of the organization.

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

• Ability to participate in cross-functional teams.

• Strong collaboration, including problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.

• Must be able to lift 70 pounds.

• Ability to work extended periods in a cleanroom environment.

• Experience working in CGMP environments preferred.

• Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation experience preferred.

THE FINE PRINT:

The salary range in Minnesota is $28.00 to $34.00 per hour. Please note that compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
