We’re scaling metal-halide perovskite solar technology to make best-in-class mechanically stacked tandem modules. We have built efficient, durable cells, monolithic multi-cell submodules, and packaged modules with our scalable, low-cost process. Our next focus is expanding our team to work in our new pilot manufacturing facility.
What You’ll Do
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to manage our end-to-end warehouse operations. This role is responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inbound Logistics
Unload delivery vehicles and verify actual counts against packing slips.
Inspect incoming materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies.
Process receipts into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP.
Stockroom & Inventory Management
Accurately put away materials in designated bin locations to maximize space and accessibility.
Pull, kitted, and staged materials for production or assembly orders.
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure 99%+ accuracy.
Shipping & Outbound Logistics
Prepare products for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling.
Secure loads for transport via palletizing, shrink-wrapping, or crating.
Coordinate with carriers (FedEx, UPS, LTL) and maintain accurate shipping logs.
Safety & Maintenance
Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
Maintain a clean and organized workspace according to "5S" or general safety standards.
Perform routine safety inspections on all power equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years in a warehouse, distribution, or stockroom environment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours a day.
Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency; experience with handheld scanners and inventory software.
Certifications: Valid Forklift Certification (preferred or willing to obtain).
Attributes: Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
