VulcanForms Inc. seeks a Senior Epicor Technical Business Analyst for our Devens, MA or Newburyport, MA location.

Job Purpose

The Senior Epicor Technical Business Analyst serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, with a balanced focus on business engagement and technical solutioning. This role ensures that efficient business processes and user needs are supported by the ERP system, delivering effective technology solutions and accurate business insights. By combining technical depth with business understanding, this role enables VulcanForms to optimize operations and drive continuous improvements that scale with the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and support Epicor Kinetic modules, including Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, along with integrated extensions (e.g., DocStar, ARM).
  • Partner with business teams across manufacturing, finance, and supply chain to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend ERP solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain BAQs, BPMs, Dashboards, SSRS reports, and other technical artifacts to meet reporting and operational needs.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and deliver solutions that align with best practices and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead ERP projects, upgrades, and system integrations.
  • Provide guidance and training to end-users, ensuring effective ERP utilization and adoption.
  • Monitor Epicor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure stability and reliability.
  • Drive testing, validation, and documentation for system changes, enhancements, and upgrades.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Epicor ERP (Kinetic or E10) in a technical capacity.
  • Strong proficiency with BAQs, BPMs, Dashboards, SSRS, and C# or .NET customizations within Epicor.
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, value stream mapping, and ERP-driven process improvement.
  • Strong understanding of finance, manufacturing, and supply chain workflows within ERP systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialization in financial modules and processes.
  • Experience with Epicor REST API and Application Studio or other low-code/no-code customization tools.
  • Previous experience with DocStar ECM or similar ERP extensions.
  • Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
