Job Purpose
The Product Operations Engineer will own the method of manufacturing for a product family. They will define internal processes and controls based on customer requirements and lead resolutions on the daily technical issues. This role will be responsible for tracking manufacturing cost, efficiency, yield, and capacity analysis. They will provide support to the operations team and ensure work is defined and processes have been refined for sustained production.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production programs by ensuring products moves efficiently through the factory.
- Review and disposition non-conforming material
- Partner closely with manufacturing and process engineering teams to ensure developing processes meet customer program requirements and align with business objectives.
- Establish and monitor critical KPIs—including cost, yield, throughput, and capacity.
- Identify knowledge, process, or execution gaps and work with program managers to resolve.
- Collaborate with Quality to ensure all processes and project activities adhere to regulatory, customer, and internal compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years’ experience in metal component manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience developing and tracking KPIs (cost, yield, throughput, quality, capacity) to support program success.
- Familiarity with process validation, qualification activities, and regulatory standards.
VulcanForms offers a competitive salary and equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, VulcanForms provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance; generous paid time off; and a 401(k) plan with company match.
The annual base salary range for this position is $77,000 to $95,000.
