  • Monitor key quality metrics (Yield, Scrap, DPPM) and lead the department in continuous improvement projects to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support the maintenance of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and lead site-level preparation for facility audits.
  • Manage departmental staffing, calibration systems, and inspection throughput to support 24/7 production needs.
  • Partner with Manufacturing and NPI teams to ensure quality controls are seamlessly integrated as new products move from prototype to high-volume production.
  • Act as a technical advisor to the team to resolve day-to-day roadblocks in inspection, NCR disposition, and root cause investigations.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality.
  • 2+ years of formal leadership/management experience (Lead or Manager level).
  • Proven experience managing employees across multiple shifts (e.g., 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or weekend shifts) in a continuous manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001; experience with ISO 13485 or AS9100 is a plus.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing (Consumer Electronics, Automotive, or similar) is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage metrics and drive team results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in GD&T, root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Preferred Qualifications:
