Job Purpose

As a Warehouse Associate at VulcanForms Inc., Devens, MA, you will perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort, and move materials by hand or using material handling equipment. VulcanForms Inc. is a manufacturer of complex, high value engineered components in serial production at the world's most powerful additive foundry.

Additionally, this position will manage verification, acceptance, and counting received products as needed. Input, update and maintain accurate inventory records in systems as required. Review and file documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ship and receive all parts and materials as required.
  • Update purchase order status and or inventory records in the system.
  • Contact carrier representative(s) to obtain quotes, make arrangements, and issue documentation and instructions.
  • Coordinate the packing and shipping of all goods required for shipments.
  • Resolve discrepancies between orders and goods; related to documentation, records, or counts, and follow up with employees, suppliers, or customers as needed.
  • Organize products for inventory or shipment to lessen handling and storage requirements. Utilize best practices in locating and maintaining physical inventory.
  • Organize stocks, control damage, maintain inventory, and prepare Cycle Counts.
  • Pull and Kit Material upon request.
  • Monitor shipping supplies as required, requisitioning or ordering as needed.
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks within the Warehouse area, including 6S implementation.
  • Assist and support the Production team as required and any other tasks assigned by management.
  • Adhere to and enforce the company's health & safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Import/Export Compliance, Customs documentation, ITAR, Incoterms (Commercial Invoices, Shipper Export Declaration, etc.)
  • High School diploma with 3-5 years of shipping/receiving and inventory control experience
  • Knowledge of couriers (FedEx, UPS, Etc.), including how to operate their respective software packages, and website processes
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, Epicor preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Word)
  • Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the job and able to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to complete training as a forklift operator
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate Degree or higher
  • Some knowledge of 6S

The hourly pay range for this position is $21.00–$29.00.
